EDIT : We saw the dr today and the baby possibly has Encephalocele so we are being referred to a different city to get further ultrasounds done. My heart is shattered.

I got my first trimester screening done to test for abnormalities. (12 weeks)

This ultrasound worries me due to the two black spots on the head and the head structure itself looks a little weird.

Also if you notice there are black spots just by the neck.

Of course I’m looking into what this could mean.

Fluid filled sacs?

Neural tube defect? Spina Bifida?

Some sort of genetic defect?

I see my dr today so I hope he has gotten the report but I am so worried…

What do you think? Please give me your honest opinion or related stories.
