Naming a June baby 'Winter'?

So my baby is due mid-June and my husband loves the name Winter. I also think it's a cute name and love Winnie or Win as nicknames. I just don't know if it's weird for a summer born baby. I'm sure as an adult it probably won't matter, but I feel like telling people initially will be weird. Any thoughts?
We already have a Lily and an Emma.

I actually like it more based off the fact that it’s not winter.. idk why but I’ve always found it weird if people name their babies after the month they were born in or season.. like you have a summer baby and name it summer or name a baby who’s born in April , April lol. That’s just my opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️.

My niece is born in the month of December and her name is summer. So I think it’s just fine if you’d like to name your baby winter in the summer time! Don’t worry about what others think, if you like it then do it!

My name is Autumn and I was born in the fall. I often meet people with my name that weren't and I honestly think it's weird AF lol why not something like summer ?

I think people always have something to say about a name. They either love it, know someone else with it that changes their opinion on it,  doesn't understand it or just completely dislikes it. I think it's lovey and the time of year doesn't matter. If it is a conversation to start with, people will get used to it like they do every other name x

Lol I have this same problem too. I love Winter (Wynter) and I’m due June 22nd. I’ve been having an internal debate over this.

I’m sure not everyone named Autumn was born in the fall so I see no problem with it.  Name your baby what you want. No one else’s opinion matters. Congratulations on your little babe!

I do think it’s a little weird. Also, I’m not a fan of the name winter at all but if it’s what you like then go for it.

I have a friend named april who was born in June. She always has hated it. We’re now in our 30’s but for as long as I can remember when ever we go out and meet new people without fail at least one person will ask her when her birthday is. When she says June, people ask why she wasn’t named June. Her parents named her after her grandma. 
If you absolutely love it and can’t see yourself going a different way, then use it. But just know she’s going to likely be in the same situation as my friend April born in June lol.
