Best Dandruff Shampoo for Curly Thick Hair?

Question

I need a new shampoo but I’m trying to find one that has no sulfates or damaging chemicals in it. 
Can you help me? 
I have naturally thick curly hair and a dry scalp most days! 
I hate how my hair gets so dry and damaged when I’ve used other shampoos in the past, such as Head & Shoulders.

Not a shampoo but I have been using scalpicin for a few weeks now and I’ll definitely buy it again. It’s so cheap and you can basically find it anywhere and I like the cooling sensation. You basically put it on your scalp and massage it in and that’s it. You don’t even have to rinse it out. I’ve heard good things about the T/sal shampoo from neutrogena and I picked some up just haven’t used it yet. I have type 4 hair so my hair is a bit kinkier than your curls but the scalpicin hasn’t negatively affected my hair at all. When I try the neutrogena shampoo I plan to deep condition, just in case it dries out my hair but I have found a lot dry your hair out like you said! Anyways, I hope you can find something that works soon, I know how annoying this is!

As far as products go, I switched to a Canadian brand called LUS recently for my curly hair and have been extremely happy with it. 
I also recently started to use a scalp massager when I wash my hair, and throughout the week as well when my hair isn’t wet. It has made a night and day difference, I no longer have a dry, flaky scalp. It gets rid of so much build up, I wish I would have heard of it and tried it sooner.

Head and shoulders has a new line with no sulfates and stuff in it! But I also have a shampoo specifically for dandruff. When I get home from work I’ll take a pic and post it here, it’s really helped my scalp a ton!

Have you used a scalp oil? That could work, and then co-wash your hair?
