For reference I’m almost 36 weeks and my doctor thinks baby may be growing ahead of schedule.

Has anyone dealt with sudden diarrhea late in pregnancy, and if so was it a sign of labour coming soon?

About 45 hours ago (a little under two days) I was suddenly hit with intense diarrhea. I’ve been nauseous as well but not vomiting, and other than being exhausted I don’t feel ill. It seems it subsided for the most part yesterday but I had very little appetite. Today my appetite is back but the diarrhea hit again very suddenly.

I’ve read that it could be a sign of labour; the body releases more relaxin before labour and clears out the digestive system. It doesn’t happen to everyone but isn’t uncommon…

If it happened to you how long before labour did it start?
