Hey all, today went from a massive high to a bit of a low… we had our growth scan at 32weeks baby girl is perfect growing lovely and cord flow etc is perfect she’s now head down aswell so was everything I wanted to hear then right at the end the sonographer says she can see some floating membrane and went to get another opinion… another one comes in and it is indeed a layer of membrane floating all the way across the top of baby. It’s not threads hanging down so they weren’t worried about baby getting caught up in it but they both said they have never seen/heard of it before so wasn’t actually sure what it was. He said it doesn’t look dangerous to baby etc but has sent off pictures to a consultant to see what they think. Well now I just kinda feel sick to my stomach even more so not even knowing what was wrong, my first daughter was IUGR my second was premature and now number three who seemed to be going so perfect has this unknown floating membrane 😩 any ideas what it could be ? Waiting to hear from a consultant but no idea when they will get in contact and feel in this weird limbo now
