Just so you can understand my background - I’m 24, recently got married, no kids. I’ve been on the pill for 1y and felt great but, unfortunately, because of my conditions - MS and anti phospholipid syndrome - I’ve been forced to stop taking them. Therefore, I was considering a copper IUD (since I’m not allowed to take anything based on hormones anymore).

Could you tell me more about your experience with it? I’ve been horrified hearing a ton of stories about the excruciating pain that comes with the insertion and any other things.

I’d really appreciate some help!
