How bad is my apron belly?

I’m 19. I had my son 10 months ago. I went from 98 pounds during my pregnancy to 200. I was extremely under weight and sick before my pregnancy and during my pregnancy I gained an insane amount of weight. my ob wasn’t concerned at all which I find weird. Also to mention I’m 5’2 and I’m roughly 170.

y’all can be brutally honest, how bad is this? And is there any possible way to fix this. I didn’t have a c section.

It’s perfectly normal to have leftover skin after pregnancy and even just weight gain in general, I think you can restore your abdominal muscles by strengthening them with deep core postpartum exercises which are actually pretty simple to do, you can find a lot on YouTube. They really helped me close my ab separation and working obliques helped bring my core together, but it has to become a consistent routine to maintain that core strength (also helps your pelvic floor).

Normal . I gain a lot when pregnant . This is my third pregnancy in 6 years . Due in 8 weeks and I already gained 60lbs . As per usual . But I’ve lost it twice before and have no doubt I will again . Couple more stretch marks only . No biggy . With my first I didn’t really push or start to see changes until she was 12 months . Then I started back regularly in the gym it was all gone by time she was 20 months and that’s when I got pregnant again. With my second I felt amazing right after she was born and it was a lot easier for me to accept me time and go to the gym as soon as I was able. Still didn’t really see changes until she was 12 months . It was all gone again before she turned 2 . So my conclusion was that my metabolism basically stops the day I get pregnant and doesn’t start to go back to normal until a year PP . I always try to eat healthier but it’s basically a Monday-Friday thing then I eat everything over the weekend lol I’ve always been like that . Anyway , I believe if you just plan some steps to be active . Soon changes will come . Don’t stress it give yourself time but as long as your making those small changes mentally you will feel better during the process in my experience . I can’t wait for May so I can get back on the decline . I’m 210 now lol
