Hormones are jacked and I need help
Ok I will try to make this as short as I can! I gained roughly 30 pounds after having an iud placed a year after having my 3rd child. It was placed to help control cysts. Well the iud made me have a period every 2 weeks for 2 weeks and I gained 2 pounds each time. After about 8 months I had it removed and was incapable of loosing weight. It didn’t matter if I only ate 1100 calories a day, or 1800 a day. I had a hunch of labs done and my testosterone was really high, as well as my dhea-s. My cortisol is ok, sugar is ok, and thyroid is ok. I know adrenal issues can cause weight gain, but HOW do I loose it?! For the most part I eat pretty good and I don’t eat a lot of carbs or sugary things to begin with. Like for lunch today I had half a chicken breast, some grilled broccoli, and a little bit of a pasta salad that had mostly veggies in it and very little of the actual noodles , and some avocado with zesty Italian dressing drizzled over it. For breakfast I usually have either eggs or a whole grain cereal with a banana. Dinner is a protein, veggies and either salad/potato/rice. Hellpppp lol I have literally never had weight issues, I was such a good weight before they put the iud in and I feel so crappy about myself now, I’ve never been this heavy while not pregnant.
