Would you not take this as rude?
So I’m holding my newborn after he’s been crying in his dads arms for a few mins while I’m trying to have just 5 mins of peace (didn’t happen) so I ask him to change the sheets into the dryer for me.
I said “hey can you do me a favor and move the sheets over please”
He said in kinda a sweet/ nice joke tone “you already asked me to do one for you today”
Like why would he say that even as a joke? He must actually mean it right? I took it Like he’s tired of doing things and me asking him to do things.
Oh and it’s been a few hours and he still didn’t move the laundry over. I didn’t want it to sit wet for hours that’s why I asked. I don’t want to ask him to do anything anymore.
I also don’t make him do much at all it’s only when my hands are full with the baby, that I need him to bring me some water or food if I forget it when I’m sat down and feeding already. that’s mainly all I ask for. Occasionally I’ll ask him to move the laundry over. Many time I just sit there super thirsty or hungry and wait for baby to be done eating though. He’s cluster feeding too.
