Hyperthyroidism and bleeding

5 weeks pregnant and have hyperthyroidism controlled with meds. I've been having some bleeding and spotting problems. Got my thyroid checked and it's not very good so I have to go off meds for a few days to see what it will do. Does this mean miscarriage? My hcg is still rising
