After your epidural was removed, how long did it take you to gain your feeling back completely?

I got up about 3 1/2 hours later and was a little wobbly and shaky but I couldn’t pee for another couple hours. Probably 5 ish hours before I was totally feeling again

I think an hr.. maybe less. It was wearing off by the time I was giving birth.

I walked to the bathroom and went to get on the couch within 30 mins of mine being turned off and taken out!

Mine wasn’t working fully through pushing and I had to keep clicking the button. I had full feeling back probably within an hour? Thankfully it lasted through my stitches though.

I’m the odd one out 🤦🏼‍♀️ my epidural completely wore off so before pushing began I felt contractions, her coming out(ring of fire), placenta coming out, them stitching me up so after they cleaned everything up and baby got her shots/dressed/etc about 45 minutes I was up and walking to go pee. Nurses were utterly shocked they said all these years working they’ve never met somebody who could walk and use the bathroom so soon. I didn’t want the epidural but certain circumstances made me.

Both times mine took a while. At least 7 hours both times.

Mine took a while. A good 4-5 hours before I could walk and even 7-8 hours later I had a spot on my thigh on one leg that was still numb. But finally went away shortly after that.
