I had my mirena for the past 5 years, and a month ago I got it replaced (as they tend to be less effective after 5 years). I had no issues with the first one. Both were inserted in hospital while I was sleeping so no pain.

For the last couple of weeks (when I was allowed to start having sex again) my orgasms make my pelvis cramp, and I’m REALLY crampy after sex. This never happened before. I’m ovulating now, and my nipples have been hard for the past 5 days. I live in Aus and it’s hot here so definitely not the weather. Nipples are hard and sore, and boobs are really sore too.
