So unfortunately I was told I was having a miscarriage on Saturday. I’ve had the flu and it was terrible with fever and everything. Thursday I was so sick I ended up in the Emergency Room. Since I was cramping and spotting they tested blood and did a ultrasound. My beta was 9600 and the ultrasound showed a gestational sac and yolk sac but no fetal pole. I was 5w4d then but according to ultrasound 5w1d. On sat I was asked to return for repeat blood work. I was so sad when the dr told me my beta had dropped 4000. I was told I was having a miscarriage and sent home. They told me call my dr on Monday. I called yesterday and had a beta test again and it’s over 21,000. All spotting had resolved and I’m so nauseous I can’t drink my coffee. Has this ever happened to anyone? I’ve NEVER heard of anything like this. I can’t wait till 2:30 today for my ultra sound. If your reading this and you pray please pray for a miracle. I’ve just never heard of anyone start to miscarry and then go on to have a healthy baby. Saturday I accepted that it just wasn’t meant to be so I feel

Prepared if the dr says that’s the case but with beta levels that went from 5000 to 21000 in less than 48 hrs I can’t help but have hope for my little August baby!
