Right so, my first midwife appointment was when I was eight weeks pregnant and obviously they’ve booked me in for another appointment at the end of January with my actual midwife. I am currently 10 weeks and I was told I was going to scan between 12 and 14 weeks. Received a letter yesterday saying I will get a scan the 8th of February. However, I will be 17 1/2 weeks pregnant. Is this normal? I don’t really want to wait that long as I have had a miscarriage before and obviously just the well-being of the baby and obviously to check I am correct about how many weeks I am. Luckily, mum and dad have surprised me with broken a private scan for this week but just wondering is it normal to have to wait till 17 weeks?
