Starting 2023, I want to work on vigorously saving & paying off debt.

My man and I talk alot about our goals & future often. Most info I read or learn about finances. I pass it on to him. He seems interested at the time but early on he told me he hates any debit /credit cards. He has a cashapp & just RECENTLY I got him to set up direct deposit & recently have a joint CC that he never touches. Cashapp is how we manage bill payments & transfer money but with this new cashapp change w/ the IRS.. I want to move away from it. He says he’s going to set up a debit card. but never sets one up. He hates the fees and doesnt “trust the bank”. Its really frustrating. Has anyone had this issue with their significant others?? How were you able to show them the benefits??

I feel like ive made lil strides w/ my credit but Im tryin to apply pressure 2023 and I need him on the same page!!
