Hey everyone, just looking for some advice or opinions although ultimately I know I’ll have to decide. So my brother and his wife are having their 3rd child, she is 26 weeks, and my family found out December 16th that she was having complications because her baby’s heartbeat was only 50 and she made it to a hospital with a specialist and they told her that her baby has complete heart block due to antibodies her body made and now she is on medication to try to increase the baby’s heart rate, eliminate fluid around its heart and abdomen, and baby will need a pacemaker immediately after birth 😞. This was really hard to accept and we are still dealing with it. Last appointment baby’s heart rate is at 57 so it’s slightly improved and things are at least not getting worse. I found out on December 18th I’m pregnant with my first. As of today, I am 4 weeks 2 days pregnant. We are all getting together on Christmas Day, and I really wanted to share it with just my immediate family, but I feel torn because it’s still so early for me but I don’t feel like we should be celebrating so soon with such recent heartbreaking news. Any ideas on what I should do?
