So my son (6months) was diagnosed with Human Metapnemovirus (HMpv) and now my daughter (4) and myself are sick as well. My son was the first to have symptoms of cold/flu.. nasal congestion, runny nose and cough.

We took him to the doctor on the 22nd and got those test results back today the 27th as having HMpv. My daughter has got a bad cough now, almost constant. Dr said since it’s a virus, you just have to let it run its course. Has anyone else or their children had this virus before?

My children and myself are miserable. Anything besides humidifier and staying hydrated as potential relief? I can’t really give anything medicinal to my son as there is not much available for a 6 month old to take…
