any ultrasound see baby?

I’m going today to get a kidney ultrasound due to some pain i had and want to know if i can ask the doctor to check on baby to see if she’s okay? He’s not a gynecologist but giving an ultrasound can he tell and see my baby? I’m 16w

I mean he’s looking at your kidneys not the baby. You can ask but I doubt it.

Probably not. I had something similar when I was pregnant and they didn’t look at baby. I didn’t ask because I know that’s not what their getting paid for and they have a limited amount of time to do my ultrasound.

I had my liver, kidneys and gallbladder checked at the emergency room when I was 17 weeks and the technician tried to sneak a peak at baby but got caught by her colleagues😂 She didn't even ask me lol just put the thing on my belly.

He might be able to let you see the baby for a quick min since at 16 weeks it shouldn’t be too hard to find, but it’s unlikely they will focus any attention on it since your there for a kidney ultrasound. That’s what they will bill for and have allotted time for.
