So my bf and I started dating around two months ago well he decided to take all social media off besides snap chat. No judgement I’m not going to freak out or anything I’m just asking if anyone has seen this to be a red flag.

I mean it could be. He could be telling you he got rid of it & is using it behind your back & only told you he got rid of it to keep you from checking it. But then idk why he’d tell you he’s keeping Snapchat. Ask him about it 🤷🏻‍♀️. Just ask him why he decided to delete it. I personally started deleting my social media before I met my partner. When we got together I had Instagram & Snapchat (I had been off fb for years) & as the relationship progressed I decided to delete the rest of my social media. I just think it can cause unnecessary drama & being issues into a relationship that don’t need to be there. My partner eventually decided to get off all his socials too & it was a decision he made on his own. Don’t let anyone force you into doing anything just because they’re making that decision for themselves.. and if you are really curious or worried about it, then communicate with him. It could be for numerous reasons.. some innocent & some non innocent.. just talk to him.

I mean he can do whatever he wants to this social media but I am definitely someone who believes Snapchat can be very dangerous in a monogamous relationship because it is literally used to send messages and pictures to people knowing that they're going to be deleted. I really thought that Snapchat was pretty outdated these days anyway as actual social media and is just used by people that want pictures and messages to go away after they send and receive them. 
If he's not forcing you to take your social media down whatever about taking his other stuff down but I would be really concerned about why he's keeping the Snapchat and nothing else because what's it benefiting him ya know?
