What are you/did you pack in your hospital bag & diaper bag for your c section?

My c section is in 5 days and I want to start packing my bags for it. What all did you pack and take with you for your c section ? Must haves?

Call and see what the hospital provides first as every hospital is different.
After I called I ended up bringing nursing bras and comfy maternity/nursing pj's. Big enough to go over your incision. The hospital provided me a belly band so for the first two days I basically wore my nursing bras, mesh underwear, and the belly band. Once I showered (I prioritized sleeping on day 2) I changed into pj's. Socks with the grips on the bottom or slippers. That's basically it. Naturally, i overpacked like I always do but I didn't need much in terms of clothes. I wore my pj's home as well. I also brought my own toiletries and I bought depends as well to wear after birth. With a c-section you don't pass big clots and I found the bleeding wasn't has heavy compared to my vaginal birth so I found the depends were nice to wear. But there is a chance it can bother the incision but I didn't have that issue.

Comfy robe, loose clothes, slippers, diapers if you prefer those, gas pills, hygiene stuff, charger, whatever you want because you will probably be there 3 days.

i would think it’s the same necessities needed for a natural birth, nothings really different and the things that are most likely will be provided for comfort by the hospital

I'd call your hospital to see if they have a list they suggest. Here were some top things I would have brought if I knew I was having a c section.
Loose clothes, big undies (I actually just wore the mesh one from the hospital), loose shoes (I swelled), chapstick, charger, robe, slippers, toiletries, a couple outfits for baby.

Nothing for that. Just asked for a wrap belt at the hospital - makes it easier to get up and walk around with one. And ask for pain meds if needed and BEFORE the pain becomes too bad.
