You don’t get over it, but learn to cope and keep going. I found journaling helpful and when you are feeling ready for it doing something to acknowledge or memorialize what happened can be very healing. I wrote the baby I lost a letter and we planted a tree in their honor. A little over a year later still have hard days, but it gets easier with time and processing.

I have a good cry and eat chocolate - after that it’s just time with my first miscarriage I felt I needed my own space for a few months hubby was great but I just threw myself into work and if I’m honest did shut him out a little which I feel awful about but it’s just how I handled it - this time I wasn’t as far along and felt more aware so when the bleeding started I could relate and I was able to accept it sooner x
