Hello, it appears that I am going to be miscarrying for the first time. My doctor was preparing me and said we can either do a D&C or let it pass naturally.

I am still trying to wrap my head around this but looking for advice. How severe is the pain for both D&C and “naturally”. Is it better to get it over with and all taken out than going through a long and painful miscarriage? I am 8 weeks.

I know this is a tough topic to relive, but anything to prepare me would be helpful.
