Most likely miscarrying but HCG levels are still rising??

Question

I am currently 8 weeks and 3 days but the last two appts we have not seen a heartbeat. However my HCG levels are still rising (not doubling) at currently 32,000 and my progesterone is high at 19.
Is my body just not processed it yet? What is going on?

Mine was like this in 2020 I was around 6ish weeks or so and I just had an empty sac. And my body wouldn’t pass it by itself so I was giving medication to help my body pass the sac.

When you are miscarrying, your body doesn’t just stop everything fully. It can be a slow process for it to stop the pregnancy. Unfortunately this does not sound like good news :( Over the next few weeks, if not sooner, your body should start catching on and start ending the pregnancy

Unfortunately it's fairly common. This happened with my 3 miscarriages as well. 🙁
