I went to my first ob appt today thinking I’m around 6 weeks and the dr sees 2 gest sacs and 2 yolk sacs. 1 yolk sac was very very clear/bright and 1 was very hard to see unless she had it like at the perfect angle. They said this means I’m having twins?? I’m in shock…. she mentioned a “vanishing twin” where basically one would not survive and that it could be the one where the yolk sac wasn’t as visible. Has anyone ever heard of this or know the stats on it?? Does this look like an early twins ultrasound?
