So I'm 8 days late, zero signs of my period coming so far. I don't feel nausea today but did have a few mornings of slight nausea. My areolas are huge.

At one day late I was testing negative. A few days later I spotted some very faint lines that appeared to remain for a couple of days. That's when I got the above yes result. I tried to test again shortly after and my test was faulty...hence the question mark. Very ironic in my situation as it was a steady clock for over a day and turned to a question mark. The faulty test caused me to go buy more and the day after the yes I got the no...hoping my urine was just diluted or something...

I'm having a hard time because the lines don't appear to be darkening. Ive had a slew of chemicals, so many that I stopped counting..but generally I'll test positive right before my cycle and then either they quickly disappear and my period starts on time, or at the latest one to three days late...never been this late and not had a pregnancy.

I'm suspecting that maybe I could have ovulated late? Maybe the fertilization had sent out some initial burst of HCG which caused my faint lines and it still needs some time to build up? I've been reading how late ovulation can still not show a positive on a test until 2 weeks late...so I'm trying to be hopeful.

I just hate this part of not knowing. I know my odds and I'm looking for success stories, late ovulation or low HCG that turned out okay...or just general relating with how stressful this process and chemicals are.
