Implantation or start of af?

Period supposed to start on the 14th. My what to expect app says this week I’m supposed to experience implantation bleeding. I’m not having any period symptoms that I normally have. What do u think?

What app is telling you you’re supposed to experience “implantation bleeding” this week? That bugs the crap out of me; one reason, is that there isn’t a lot of scientifically evidence that shows it can cause physical/outward symptoms, like bleeding. Another reason, is that there are more common and scientifically proven causes of spotting or bleeding outside of a period. Cervical irritation, hormonal shifts/imbalance, vaginal tear/abrasion, cysts, infection, fibroids, polyps, the list pretty much goes on and on. Spotting around this time is most likely related to hormonal shifts, or an irritated Cervix.

It could be implantation bleeding. I had implantation bleeding that looked like that, I noticed in twice on 9dpo only when I wiped, now I’m 14 weeks with a little boy. But implantation bleeding is not common, and as the other commenter pointed out there can be a lot of other reasons for spotting around that time.
