Morning Sickness Remedies

Hol 🌻

Please help! I’m only 6 weeks and my morning sickness is unbearable. Mainly just the overwhelming nausea. It’s so bad, all day long I just wish for bedtime so I can take my restavit and sleep through it 😭 please, any remedies?

And any positive stories? I’m so scared about it getting worse leading up to weeks 9-12 😭

I didnt have this at all with my first 2 pregnancies so this is really throwing me.

Try to always keep something on your stomach. I know that sounds counterintuitive, but I quickly realized the nausea was worse, almost unbearable when I hadn’t eaten. When I chose to ignore the nausea, it’d turn into vomiting. Another thing I realized very fast was that you can’t force yourself to eat something in the first trimester (or second trimester for me). If I force myself to eat something specific when my body wants something else, I almost always throw it up. None of the advice I got really seemed to help me. I had to listen to my body and learn what makes it worse versus what works for me.

Ask for zofran. With my son I was super nauseous and zofran helped. With my daughter I took zofran and still threw up twice a day but it did help

Morning sickness is horrible! I had it really bad week 6-12. I had no choice but to take zofran and the doctor set me up with IV fluids three times a week. I literally couldn't eat or drink anything without throwing up a million times a day. Vitamin b6 and unison didn't help either. There is light at the end of it! I finally found that ice water with fresh squeezed lemon helps! But I have to drink from a straw. Milk became my best friend! I'm now 18 weeks and have no more.If you're not keeping anything down, please talk to your doctor and take something for nausea. You have to take care of yourself so the baby can thrive. Good luck! And congratulations!
