What is this?

Anyone know what this is and how to get rid of it ? I have had it for like months now. Doesn’t hurt but it’s bothering me so much. It’s white and it is raised. I tried to pop it but it wouldn’t pop lol.

It's milia. Please don't try to extract it yourself, especially on such a delicate area of skin. I get a couple milia on my eyelids during pregnancy and what works is using a small amount of glycolic acid serum. It slowly and gently exfoliates the area until the sebum releases. I use a cotton swab to apply it. It works in 1-2 weeks in my experience. I like the cosrx glycolic acid, it's very gentle but effective.

It's a milia which is a little protein ball under the skin. A dermatologist can remove it by making a slit in your skin with a needle and then likely using a comedone extractor to push/pull it out. I have a lot on my face. I've been able to pick a couple out with my fingernail which I know is gross. I've also had a nurse practitioner remove some. I wouldn't recommend trying to use a needle to get it out as you could cut yourself too deep and/or get an infection.

It is milia. Sometimes I use a sterilized needle and a blackhead tool to ￼extract them myself, but they are very difficult to get out. And you do not want to hurt your skin, so I don't recommend that method. ￼You can go see a dermatologist, and have them do it, and they can give you tips on how to do it at home also. They are caused by dead skin cells getting trapped under your skin, and it forms milia, which are tiny cysts￼. If you use too much moisturizer, or the wrong type of moisturizer for your skin, it can make the situation worse. Finding the right moisturizer and other face products ￼for you is imperative to keep them away. You don't want any waxes or heavy oils in your moisturizer. in addition to that, you need to use an exfoliator or micro dermabrasion type of product once or twice a week. ￼
