Folliculitis ?? 19w3d

Question

Has anyone else here been diagnosed with folliculitis while pregnant? I was given a cream antibiotic but it’s been 24 hours and I’m still unbelievably itchy all over. If I could crawl out of my skin I would 😩 
If you’ve had this before please send over any suggestions on how to help with the itchiness before I go crazy.

See if Benadryl helps. Chamomile (you should be able to find pregnancy safe herb baths that have chamomile) and colloidal oatmeal (IIRC aveeno makes a good one with just oatmeal in it) bath might knock down a small amount of itchiness. 
I’m sorry you are dealing with this! I’ve never had folliculitis but I did have PUPPS with my last pregnancy and remember how uncomfortable it was.

Cold can help for short term relief, like using an ice pack (with a wash cloth between the pack and your skin) for no more than 10 minutes, then a 10 minute break.
