How soon after your baby turn 1 did you actually stop formula feeding?

I’m so scared because she turns 1 in 2 weeks, but getting her to eat or drink anything other than formula is nearly impossible 😩 I need help!

I started to transition a week before each of mine turned one, so by the time they were one they were just on milk.

I started swapping an ounce of formula for milk gradually over two weeks before turning one and if no side effects then kept going until eventually it was all milk. He did great and didn’t even notice

14 months. We started transitioning with he was 12 months and we were fully off formula by 14 months.

We were fully off breast milk at 12m. We didn’t start whole milk as she wasn’t interested. We just fed her yogurt and cheese. 
If babe isn’t eating solids well after 12m, too much milk is usually the culprit. Limit milk intake (cows, oat, almond, formula, breast milk…whatever you give) to 16oz in 24hrs.

We started transitioning as mentioned above one ounce at a time. We encouraged water and food at meal times too. She was fully transitioned maybe 2 weeks after her first birthday. Baby should also stop bottles after first birthday which should help the transition too. Be aware that getting too much cow’s milk can cause baby to get very sick so please look into the recommended total daily amount. If you’re having trouble getting baby to eat food, speak with your pediatrician.

About 1 week after their first birthdays. I did a gradual switch from formula to whole milk—1/4 milk and 3/4 formula, then half each, then 3/4 milk and 1/4 formula.
