Possible chemical?

Hi so about 6 days ago I got a faint line positive tests as for 4 days every test had lines , then all of a sudden they went negative ! Could it been chemical ? Iv never had one before but me and my husband been trying 4 years now and never once had a faint line you could actually see ! Has anyone else experience the same ? What should I do ?

It could had been a chemical if you were testing early… and if your bleeding was heavier than usual. 
But possibly maybe even a bad batch of tests..I once was testing with expired tests and I didn’t realize it and they were giving me positives and I was not pregnant , I later realized that they were expired.
