will a salon do this ?

Question

if i used semi permanent purple dye on my hair but i want
the salon to touch up the purple
and possibly make it more vibrant will they do that over my color ?

It depends depends on your base colour under the purple babe… when I went pink it took me patients to get to the fluorescent gorgeous bright bubble gum pink…. But honestly I went pink… treated for about three months with protein shampoo (it was a dark… like almost burgundy colour) then stripped it with a colour stripper, then bleach…. Then pink Then three months of protein shampoo, then colour stripper, bleach, pink… etc etc until it was a gorgeous hot highlighter pink. it’s a process. If your base isn’t super blonde you won’t be able to  achieve the purple you want if it’s a very bright vibrant. They will have to strip it again. But be careful the tone of purple you put because it’s got a red colour in it and anything in shades of red (pinks, purples, reds) are so hard to cancel out…….. I’ve been every colour possible and ones with red tones are an absolute nightmare
