Nonstop bleeding

I got my liletta IUD June of last year. I was spotting for a few months and then it totally stopped and I didn’t even get my period. Then in December I got what I thought was my period and it hasn’t stopped since. It’s in between spotting and a period and on random days I’ll have kinda bad cramps and a heavy flow then it just goes back to spotting. Why did this start happening? Is there anything I can do to stop this?
