Newish ear piercing feels off

I had my 3rd ear piercing repierced after it closed up 6 months ago. It’s been about 5 days and I’ve been gently cleaning it 2x a day with a saline solution and not sleeping on it (or at least I hope I’m not) Well it feels warm to the touch and this kind of itchy/tender sore feeling. There’s no way it’s infected as there isn’t any oozing, crust, or redness. Is this considered normal? I can’t remember my last reaction when I had it pierced the first time.
