My Valentine's Day Baby is here!

He's finally here! Baby Adrien was born on February 17th at 2:55am! Now read this.. so crazy!!! Sorry about how long this post is!!

Contraction started at 40w2d at 2:45pm every 10 minutes!

I wanted to labour at home as much as possible to avoid getting sent back! Went to drop off our daughter at my parents house around 6:30pm, contractions were 5-10 minutes appart.. not very regular! I also didn't want to time accurately.. you know just to put more pressure on myself!

Went home around 9pm, jumped/rolled on my exercice ball maybe 30 minutes total.. it was making my contraction a bit more intense so I stoped and went for a bath, then went to bed (don't remember the time)! Getting more contraction regularly but still refused to start my timer... until midnight.. I was shaking/shivering! Contractions were 2-4 minutes appart and lasting 50 seconds to 1m20sec each. I timed them 1 hour until I decided to call the hospital! I was still able to manage them, even tho they were painful! We left the house around 1:15am got to the hospital at 1:50am, went in, changed to get checked getting contraction more closer (fiancé went to park the car)! 2:15am the head nurse didn't have time to check me before one big contraction came and my water broke at the same time!!! OMGGGGG!!!! I screamed so loud by fiancé heard me from down the hall, the nurse checked me, the baby was right there, I was fully effaced and dilated! They rolled me in the delivery room, asked me to change bed (nurses were running every where in the room trying to get everything ready)! I remember asking "I

won't be able to get the epidural??" The nurse shook her head and told me no, that I had to push at my next contraction!!!! Guys I looked at my fiancé's face/eyes "I need you!!!"

Started pushing best I could at 2:25am.. but I couldn't do it correctly because of the pain!! They put me on laughing gas, just to make me "deal" with the contractions!! Thank god it was helping a bit! Finally I felt his head, shoulder and then legs come out, everything was over in a flash!! My 2nd rainbow baby was here, on me, in my arms, perfectly healthy baby boy 💙 7lbs11oz and 53cm(20.86in)
