Hello everyone my name is Kady and I recently had to move out my first apartment about 3 weeks ago due to bedbugs/roach issue they basically gave me a bad apartment I was only in it for 3 months. I’m temporarily back at my parents house until I move into my new apartment and these past 3 weeks have been hell. I’ve been sleeping on the couch because my new bed is too big for my old room so everything is in storage. Things have been okay with my mom until a week ago when she demanded I give her half of my tax money and spending money everyday. I overheard her the other day talking about me to my brother saying she was tired of me being on her couch and that this was going to be my last week here. I’m trying to move out as soon as I can but the leasing agent where I was approved at said they won’t be giving out leasing info until the first week of March due to them switching management. I am not just waiting on them I’m looking at other places too see what apartments are available now. I currently have the $1,200 for move in deposit etc. I don’t mind giving my mom some money for letting me be here temporarily but she wants all of my money and expects me to give her money too spend when she goes out with my stepdad and or family member’s. How should I deal with this situation? There’s 6 days left till March so I’m trying to hang in there but it’s very stressful I can’t even concentrate to get homework done my grade has went down and next week is the last week of the semester. I work two jobs so it’s pretty hectic for me at times. How to deal with an entitled mother whos also a narcissistic?
