Anyone else’s 10 month old not sleeping long ? I found out in December I’m expecting another baby girl and ever since my daughter won’t sleep unless she’s in the bed with me and her dad.

My 11.5 month old went back into his crib after sleeping with me since 6 months old. He would wake up so much when sleeping with me and I’m 7 months pregnant. I get him ready for bed and just put him in his crib and he falls asleep. What things have you tried?

Getting them out of your bed, especially at this age when attachment is high, can be a toughy! I’m currently trying to get my son to sleep a full night in his crib too. I’ve never had it in me, with either of my sons, to let them cry it out- so for me being consistent is key. In time the cycle should break. So, my son always goes to sleep in his crib. If he wakes I always try to settle him and depending on how tired I am I’ll keep giving him a paci/putting my hand on his back for a minute until he goes back to sleep. If he just cries though or continues to keep waking then I put him in bed with me (for both our sakes). I always *try* to have him sleep in his crib though and give him time and space to try and self soothe. Eventually the cycle will break- or at least I hope so! It did with my first.
