Pregnancy tests?

Went to our local CVS this morning to get a First Response/pink dye test. All First Response digitals were locked up, and store brand whether in pink or blue box, all displayed blue dye. Took the ‘first response’ generic home in case it’s just on the box design and it’s blue. It’s still one with two lines but the blue passes through the test window and leaves a residue so you can’t tell if the line might be faint or just residue! Are pink dye tests gone?? Maybe my store was just out of stock!
