Neglectful father while I work

So one day a week my husband is the sole carer to our son. Every other day our son is either in nursery for part of the day or I just have him.

I work in a hospital and one day a week I need to do a long day so start at 7am, I am unable to drop my son at nursery at 630am as they dont open until 730am so two other days I start at 8am. When I start at 7am I finish at 730pm and my hushand is his only parent.

He is only 2. My husband works evening shifts so goes to work at sometimes 6pm and gets in at 3am sometimes later.

So last night he got in whatever time, I get up at 520am get ready for work and off I go. Come home to find out my son didnt get his breakfast until 11am as ny husband had him in his bed till then watching tv. Then straight after breakfast went straight back up fell asleep and put the tv back on for my son.

We do live with my Mum, so she told me all of this. She offered to have my son whil he slept but he declined. I just feel like he is being neglectful. I dont know what else I can do. I need to work to pay my bills and other bills I do like having my own money and shouldnt have to pack in my job because of the whole my husband being a lazy bastard. I do get he is tired, I offered to work nights but he was adament to say no as he cant guarantee he can be home at a agreed hime in his work and I am at a fucking loss.

Update to Does it happen every time?

No it doesnt happen every time but his routine is messed up afterwards which I then have to sort out but I do but this I feel is taking the mick. This is the worst it has been
