Pp bleeding stopping then gushing?

This is my third baby and I did not experience this with my first two, but I am three weeks postpartum and several times now my bleeding will stop and then I will randomly get a large gush of blood and then it stops again. Is that normal? I also passed two large clots last week. ￼and I also didn’t bleed this long with my first two kids

2nd baby, this time I bled for a month. Literally just stopped bleeding yesterday and I’m 4 weeks PP.

I’m experiencing the same thing. 3rd baby as well. Still bleeding with random gushes, after not bleeding all day. Passed a couple clots (not bigger than a quarter, maybe dime size) and I’m also a little over 3 weeks postpartum. I was going to email my doc because I do not remember this with my last 2…

I’m experiencing this too, no clots but bleeding seems to stop and then I’ll get gushes. This is my third baby, and we’re 10 days pp… my other 2 are 5 and 2, so maybe I’m doing too much.

Could you possibly be over exerting yourself? Or trying to do too much too fast? That can cause a sudden increase of bleeding! This happened to me this time around as I was chasing around after my toddler
