Hi everyone,

I got married six months ago and I was telling my husband yesterday I had my form to file our taxes and he said he didn’t have his yet and he wasn’t sure if it was on ADP yet. I told him to let me know as soon as he did so we can file. Today he tells me he files last week and he filed SINGLE

I’m so pissed I walked out

He didn’t communicate with me he had already filed

He filed single when he is married

He said I’m overreacting and he is doing this to get a better return. I told him it was over between us because if he wants to file single he can be single.

I feel like he is gaslighting me by telling me I’m overreacting and he hasn’t even apologized. He has been sleeping in the living room and I’m still so pissed.

Am I overreacting or am I right to be mad?
