Cat fur and newborn ?

I’m interested how to handle this situation when the baby arrives.My cat will lose a lot of fur during the time my baby will be born.

Honestly I don’t want to lock my cat away,he’s sleeping in our room on bed and the baby crib will be in the same room.He is a sweet cat and very attached to us.We live in an apartment and everywhere I go he goes and I don’t want to stress him.

I want my baby to live alongside pets and please don’t say to abandon it or smth. I’m just curious how to handle the fur of my cat in the sprin/summer time when he loses a lot. I’m already letting him smell everything
