Sharing rooms?

Just found out I’ll be having another little boy! Now I’m wondering if my two boys (first will be 2 when baby is born) should share rooms.

My boys are 21 months apart and theyve roomshared since the little brother was I think 7 months old. Theyre 9 and 10.5 yrs now.

My boys are 4&2 as of right now they have separate rooms. But I’m also pregnant so the plan is for them to start sharing a room so the newborn can have his or her own room. We shall see how it works 😬

If you have the option of separate rooms, I would recommend that. My boys shared for almost a year and now have separate rooms. They both sleep so much better in their own rooms .

I’m having my third boy (unexpectedly) so we will be having at least 2 of the boys share a room. Right now I have my 1 year old & 7 year old sharing a room & the baby will be in our room for a year. Then we will likely have the two younger ones share a room (they’ll be 14 months apart) and my oldest will get his own room.

I have a 2.5 year old in his own room and an almost 3 month old in my room until he turns 6 months old. I'll be moving him into his own room at that time. As both boys get older, I'll let them choose if they want to be in the same room or not. My brothers shared a bedroom until they were teenagers. They enjoyed it as kids.
