I need advice!

Okay so with my last pregnancy, my son came so suddenly and without warning. It was just one minute I was perfectly fine, and the next I was in serious pain and baby was coming! I almost had a car baby.

I’m pregnant with my second, and people always say the second comes faster or sooner, so I’m so terrified that this one will be a car baby.

If my doctor allows it, should I request an induction at 38 weeks? (My son was born at 38 weeks) I’m usually very against induction unless medically necessary, like I would rather go as long as I can even if that’s 43 weeks, than to be induced. But I seriously don’t want a car baby.

Should I just risk it? Or should I talk to my doctor about a possible induction? What do you ladies think?
