I’m at work having a panic attack because I just got an alert that my kids’ dad randomly made a child support payment. I have a restraining order. He is abusive and (undiagnosed but my unprofessional opinion) narcissistic so I’m worried this means that he’ll move to requesting custody or utilizing his visitation. However, this confuses me because he’s also a deadbeat - hasn’t seen our kids (1&2) in almost a whole year, even tho he has had visit rights for a couple months now, and even when I would offer before. And our state takes action against the other parent after 2+ months of nonpayment, which includes repossession of property (and the only property he holds is his beloved car 🙄). So I’m assuming he either paid because he didn’t want them taking his car, or maybe taxes? But that didn’t quite make sense because it was an exact amount, no change. Idk but the idea of him being with our kids terrifies me. Please help !
