Looks like a bad canker!!! I get them in that area and they get huge! They’re so painful it’s hard to eat or swallow
I got otc “kanka” which is like a topical numbing agent you put directly on it 
Unfortunately you gotta let them run their course 
Avoid acidic foods like tomato’s and fruit 
And gargle with sea salt water 3 times a day! It helps!
