Ultrasound at 6 weeks or 8 ?

I had an ectopic pregnancy and then a miscarriage and then a missed miscarriage just 2 months ago and I’m now pregnant again. My doctor did beta hcg testing and it doubled and he said he’ll see me when I’m 8 weeks for my ultrasound. I feel like it should be at 6 weeks due to my history and I have alot of anxiety over this. Should I ask for a 6 week ultrasound or leave it ?

Wait till 8 weeks… Baby will be able to be seen a lot better on a scan at 8 vs 6 & will be bigger.

If you have a history of ectopic you should absolutely have it done early to ensure it’s in uterus. It may not be heartbeat or anything but it’ll confirm sac is in right place. Then repeat 1-2 weeks later to confirm heartbeat.

Leave it at 8 weeks. Not much can be said at 6w. If something looks off or no heartbeat see (common at 6w), they just have you come back in 2 weeks as a follow up. Might as well just go at 8 weeks when things will be clear.
