Spoiled milk

Ok mamas my toddler is in the stage of hiding his sippy cups. Well one in particular I have been looking for well he found it and it had spoiled milk in there from lord knows how long and he had a sip. Will he get sick is this something I need to be worried about other then me almost barfing
