Just On Time!

Shanice

Ahhh my pregnancy is something to surely remember. Baby girl was due on January 7th & even though we thought she'd come earlier with all the complications she waited for January 7th lool. Contractions started minutes to 3 the morning but it wasn't nothing I couldnt handle. As a first time mom, 27 years old I was scared as ass! Got up 7:12 AM & went to pee, saw blood and got scared. My aunty is a nurse so I reached out to her and I went to the hospital after. Did my covid test, got admitted and then the contractions came a bit faster and a bit more painful. The enema was the worstttttt cause I handled the contractions well. Got induced and the male nurse clipped my water bag, it was show time!!! I pushed and pushed and pushed and she would just not come out. The nurses held up my legs and nothing, I got clipped and nothing. I also have fibroids which were directly below my baby which played a role through out this whole process. An at the time, I was moaning the death of my brother who got killed a few weeks before. It all boiled down to the midwife calling the doctor on call to deliver my baby. So I had a Forcep delivery and was in an out of it. I was tiredddddd, I didn't even hear her first cry nor was I conscious that she came out. I spent 1 hour and a half in the delivery room, she was born at 9:30pm. After all that I bled for weeks and had to go back an ultrasound which the results showed something that needed urgent attention. So I was back in the hospital awaiting another procedure. After that one I bled for like 3 more weeks and now were all good. I love my daughter so much and the thought of her almost not surviving just makes me love her a million times more. No promises on a next kid lool
