I would first like to say that in no way I expect everything on this list. Me and my husband have been living with my mom and our living situation is sadly not working out. I live in AZ, my husband is making a little bit above minimum wage and I’m a Pharmacy Technician working temp jobs until I can secure something permanent so our wages aren’t making ends meet. I’m hoping to get this job I really want soon, and to start saving up so we can move out with our 9 week old. It would also help me get primary custody of my 8 year old son as I sent him to live with his dad until I got back on my feet and had my own place. Sadly I’m also dealing with CPS because the hospital I gave birth at, has falsely accused me of taking Oxy as they believed it was in my baby’s system. Turns out, it wasn’t once I got her medical records which I pleaded with them it wasn’t. I got my medical records as well and had a false positive for Oxy which made them call CPS in the first place. So my poor baby girl went thru NICU with them giving her Morphine for said “withdrawal” and when they drug tested her again, they accused me again of taking drugs because she tested positive. It wasn’t until two days later that they apologized because they realized that the reason she DID test positive is because they were giving her Morphine. Thankfully they did not take her out of our care, but I am dealing with a CPS worker who has falsified my interview saying I admitted to having an addiction which I did not. He did not record the interview but luckily enough my husband was there for the interview and can testify that. I did tell him that I took the smallest dose of Oxycodone for endometriosis years ago, and that my dr put me on Subutex as the safest option for my pain that I still have today. And because of that, the CPS worker has labeled me an addict and that my daughter is at risk for child abuse. I have a clean record, and never been arrested or detained. I live on the rez and their CPS department has been a little lenient but apparently our current set up is not up their standards. We have a stroller that turns into a bassinet and they don’t think it’s enough which is why I’m asking for one. That’s really the only thing I need at this very moment in time. The other things are for when we can finish setting up her own room which I hope can be done by the end of April. Please even if you can’t send anything, a prayer is more than enough :) this has been a hard year and I know I’ll beat this case that shouldn’t have been to begin with. Thank you for reading 🫶🏽
